Better bankside promenade: 10am - 11:45am
This year's Urban Elephant has been developed in partnership with the team at Better Bankside to highlight the links and connectivity between Bankside and London newest town centre at the Elephant. Come and join the promenade which will see a myriad of cultures with music and dance leaving from the Better Bankside office at 10am on the morning of Saturday 14 November. It will be joined at the Elephant and Castle by a large life size elephant puppet. This in an exciting new element of the festival, not to be missed!
Better Bankside Office - 10am
Join the start of the promenade at Better Bankside offices, or join partway along the route towards the New Town Centre.
Castle Square - 11:15am
A life sized-elephant puppet joins the fun when the promenade arrives at Castle Square, just before it makes its way to the finish area.
Belfield Clarke Square - 11:45am
The festival begins when the promenade arrives at Belfield Clarke Square, the NEW Elephant and Castle Town Centre.
